Welcome to Mälaren Equine Veterinary Clinic Linköping, based in Staby Gård. In our well-planned and pleasant premises, we offer you and your horse a personal service from our knowledgeable veterinarians and assistants.

Monday: 08.00-18.00
Tuesday: 08.00-20.00
Wednesday to Friday: 08.00-16.30
Please note! You can only book appointments during the reception’s regular opening hours. The on-call staff cannot make appointment bookings.
Patients are mainly cared for here during the day. Horses that require 24/7 care, certain specific medical examinations or surgery beyond what we can offer here are referred to our equine hospital in Sigtuna or, if necessary, another equine hospital.
About the clinic:
We are a modern clinic offering veterinary medical treatments including regenerative and conventional medicine. We have the latest X-ray and ultrasound technology to help us carry out thorough diagnoses and we also offer the latest in shock wave therapy for orthopaedic problems. We treat problems in the cervical spine, back and sacroiliac (SI) joints of the horse. We work with both conventional orthopaedic treatments as well as regenerative ones.
We have day boxes, outpatient clinic rooms, jog strips, X-ray and waiting rooms under the same roof, and an indoor arena for lunging in the building next door. We offer coffee/tea on site and there is a vending machine if you want to buy something to eat.

How to find us:
Travelling from the north via the E4 motorway
Exit from the E4 at the sign marked ‘Linköping Östra, Åtvidaberg’. Turn left at the roundabout and drive towards Linghem/Tallboda. Take the first left at the stop light. Drive circa 1 km to the bus stop and recycling station, turn left and drive over the bridge across the motorway. After around 800 m there is a fork in the road – keep to the left. Drive for around 200 m, and turn left in to the farm. Take the first gravel track on the left and park at the large car park at the back of the clinic.
PLEASE NOTE!
Trucks weighing more than 3.5 tonnes should follow these directions from the roundabout:
Drive straight on at the roundabout towards the town centre. At the next roundabout, turn right. Then turn right at the roundabout after that towards Ekängen. Drive over the motorway. Go straight on at the Garstad roundabout. Drive for circa 1 km, then turn right towards Östra Harg. Drive for around 1.2 km to where the road swings 90 degrees to the left – drive straight on into the farm. Take the first road to your left and park in the large car park at the back of the clinic.
Travelling from the south via the E4 motorway
Take the third exit marked ‘Linköping, Saab, Åtvidaberg’. Then follow the directions given above.
