A warm welcome to our equine veterinary practice, Runsten Equestrian, in Grödinge, just half-an-hour from Stockholm. We have a team of expert veterinarians from MHK Sjöbacka and we are open two days a week. Here, you and your horse will receive personal service in a pleasant environment!

Please note: Appointment booking is only available during regular reception opening hours. The on-call staff cannot assist with appointment bookings. 

Patients are mainly cared for here during the day. Horses that require 24/7 care, certain specific medical examinations or surgery beyond what we can offer here are referred to our equine hospital in Sigtuna or, if necessary, another equine hospital.   

About the clinic:    

You can be sure that your horse will be well cared for by our skilled and dedicated staff. We are a modern clinic that offers veterinary treatments, including both conventional and regenerative medicine. We have well-equipped and well laid-out premises with day stalls, outpatient rooms, jog strip and waiting room under one roof – and there are both indoor and outdoor riding arenas.  

We treat horses with problems in the cervical spine, back and sacroiliac (SI) joints. We work with conventional orthopaedic treatments as well as regenerative ones. The clinic has portable X-ray, ultrasound and shockwave machines. We can take blood samples that are then analysed at Mälaren Hästklinik Sjöbacka or Sigtuna. There is also a cafeteria where you can buy coffee and lunch while you wait.
