We are part of the Altano Group 

Since 2021, Mälaren Hästklinik has been part of the European veterinary network Altano. The network brings together some of Europe’s most prominent equine clinics, all of whom share the twin goals of offering the highest quality care and constantly developing their expertise and services. 

International cooperation develops healthcare 

For many years, we have collaborated with leading clinics in Europe. This has given us the opportunity to offer our employees further clinical training abroad, while at the same time receive colleagues from other countries to work with us. Through these exchanges, we have been able to be at the forefront in medical procedures such as airway surgery and diagnostic imaging. 

We have also collaborated on the selection of medical equipment, which has led to smarter investment and a higher quality of care. 

Why we chose Altano 

When several of our partners joined Altano, we quickly saw the value in becoming part of the network. The benefits are many: both for our patients and their owners, and for our clinics and our staff. 

Within Altano there is a strong exchange of knowledge. We can quickly get in touch with experienced specialists and discuss unusual or complicated cases. The network also enables joint investment in education, research and new technology. 

Our network is growing 

Today, we work closely with clinics in France, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and our homeland of Sweden, including HKF on the west coast. We are convinced that this is just the beginning.
